Day 2. Mostly through the woods. Crossed Hiway 17 at noon at ‘Height of Land’ - Rangeley lakes in the background- before descent down and back into the trees. Hiked over Old Blue Mountain to reach Bemis Mtn Lean-to for the night- gratefully finishing a challenging and rewarding 8.3 miles.
