These trails had a ridiculous number of blazes. Here’s a good example. I spot seven sets (blue and red together) of blazes in this photo. It would be nearly impossible to get lost out here, in addition, walking in any direction off trail you’ll hit a biking trail so it’s not like you could just wander “out into the woods” with no way to find your back.

A bit of overkill that also takes away from the natural beauty.
