I wasn’t sure we we need a pulk when I was planning our trip but kept it as an option, in case.
Turned out to be a good option since my partner for this trip is new to this activity and some of her clothing and packing is not streamlined for lightweight. Also she doesn’t have the training or endurance for backpacking (and my own endurance is probably at its lowest in 6 years) so sledding the heaviest of our gear was preferable to backpacking it.
We used a canoeing canoe dry bag for the sled gear.
