This sleepy island in the Andaman Sea was a fantastic place to spend Christmas with our little family, and a few Bangkok friends. Definitely not the ambience and traditions of our Christmases in America, but these last 3 Christmases abroad have all broken tradition and still been very special in their own unique ways. This trip was full of food and rest, with some kayaking and swimming mixed in here and there in order not to feel too lazy!

One of many rubber tree farms - the island is known for farming rubber and cashew nuts. The road here is all the island has, no cars, just motorbikes.

Stopped at this shop that sells native jewelry. The pic shows a Buddhist spirit house, common all over Thailand, and some relaxing spots to hang out in on the beach.
