Super quick day trip to escape the Big Mango. A three and a half hour drive each way, but it didn't fit into our weekend to stay overnight this time. There is a lot to do in this park, including camping, but that will have to wait for another time. For this trip we focused on a hike to Phrayakan Cave, which like most caves in Thailand, has a Buddhist shrine in it. The boats were not running today due to waves and choppy water, so we hiked over the mountain to reach the half hour of stairs leading up to the limestone cave. Fun, even in Thailand's muggy heat (it is technically cool season here, but it's still quite hot!)

All my photos of monks around Thailand are from my car since it is rude to photograph them. I pass them every day on my moto ride to school, sometimes they walk by my house...but I only have pictures from our moving car! This pic shows a common way to get around once you're out of Bangkok - motos with side trailers.
