Wife of 22 years and mom of 3 great human beings age 19, 17 and 11. Follower of Jesus and native city girl who only dicovered the outdoors later in adulthood. I lead a nonprofit organization providing safe housing and recovery resources for young girls who have been sexually trafficked and exploited in Los Angeles County. My dream is to one day lead trafficked survivors on wilderness trips where they can experience empowerment and healing on the trail just as God has used the trail to bring about healing in my own life. My best memories in the outdoors are those I've made backpacking with my daughter. I absolutely love hearing other people's stories of their outdoor adventures which is why I'm looking forward to this online community.
