Our latest feature is a bit of a geeky one (and a bit old-school as far as the web goes): we now have RSS feeds throughout the site. If you don't know what RSS is, then you can either ignore the rest of this post, or learn more here.
Depending where you are on the site, a number of feeds will be available.
On a member page there will be feeds of that member's latest journal entries, and another feed of their latest journals.
On a journal page there will be a feed of the latest entries for that journal.
On route and activity pages there will be feeds of the latest journal entries and latest journals for that activity or route.
On the explore page is a feed of the latest journal entries and newest journals (site-wide).
On the site-wide journals page is a feed of the latest journals site-wide.
Now you have lots of options available for following the latest happenings on Outsideways. If you are like me and prefer to consume news updates via a feed reader, keep tabs on the latest in online adventure journals by subscribing to one or more of our feeds!
