Don't you love finding something unexpected and wonderful? That's how I felt about this campground on the Olympic Peninsula. We only stayed at Dungeness Recreation Area because we couldn't get a campground reservation in Olympic National Park. The private campsites and access to a five-mile long spit in the Puget Sound will probably draw us back. Next time, I am staying in the lighthouse!
