Peru peak Shelter. After an easy 9 miles today in the sunshine and dappled shade of the forest we arrived at our destination by 3pm. So much time to relax so we washed in the brook - bodies and clothes, we built a fire, and I spent time watching spider webs in this gorgeous sunlight. It was a seriously relaxing and beautiful afternoon. Met Steve and welcomed Pepe & Sarah with dog Hope around 5:30. Hadn’t seen them since Storey Spring Shelter where we all hunkered down in the rain together.This is my favorite photo so far of our trip.
