David Henderson monument in the woods. And I wonder, how did this get here? There must have been more than just hiking trails in the late 1800's. Did horses pass through here, and carts?

I'm surprised at what I discover sometimes on a trail, especially a rocky and steep one. At Overlook in Woodstock, there is an abandoned resort and I can only imagine how hard it was to bring the building materials up!!
