My AllTrails App; Hiking Trails of New Brunswick, written by Marianne Eiselt & H.A. Eiselt; and recommendations from 'locals' all contributed to our trail choices. The weather wildcard was not an issue: a gift in any season! The trailhead for our longest hike - Split Rock and Troy's Trail - was on the other side of the rock outcropping: inland from the tanker ship, which we could see from so many angles from different viewpoints I was wondering if there was more than one of them!
