Second night camping on our drive to Colorado. Geneseo Campground, IL

First night car camping Woodstock, ON. Campground chosen solely for its proximity to the 401. We arrived and set up in the dark, turns out we're in farm country. Nice campground: Willow Lake Campground and RV Park (we're not sure where the lake is).

We'll be in more farm country tonight enroute to Colorado.

We reached escape velocity. We dreamed up this trip last summer. And now after months of planning, weeks of details upon details, including securing a housesitters in our absence, route planning around affordable (ie: free and nearly free) accommodations, days of packing gear, cleaning and organizing our apartment, we are finally out the door.
