Mont Saint Gregoire

Easier to walk on these flat slabs of rock-lava than the seaweed-slimey ones from the previous day’s hike. Spectacular weather- few mosquitoes but not unmanageable.

Brier Island NS. Started at Northern Lighthouse, Seal Cove- but didn’t see any seals!

Sandy Cove, NS. near Whale Cove campground where 3 of us shared a rent-a-tent - which would have been great if one of the double air mattresses wouldn’t have leaked!

This alcove had a natural altar built into it. The hike organizer called this a Sand and Seacaves Hike - rightly so .
