The driftwood cluttering the shore drew me in to Bernard Island. Chose an interesting cane-shaped piece that would fit for transport - both on the 'Fury' we'd rented from our B&B and our car for the trip home.
Paddling past Ile Bernard Island. Tick the Tickle is written on my map of this section of waterway - not sure if it refers to the water or the point of land behind us, opposite the Island. Such a curious name that I had to make mention of it!
A return evening hike to Cap la Ronde: to retrieve Derryl's glasses he'd taken off earlier while enjoying our afternoon snack. The wind wasn't strong enough to pick them up where they lay in the grass. It was really nice to see this view again in a different light!
