In celebration of their 45th wedding anniversary, @karentogo and @hammerhead invited @reneetougas and @toesalad to join them for a two week section hike of the Vermont Long Trail. Back at the car, our gear loaded in the back, and somewhat surprised it is already over. You know it was a good trip when:

Everyone is still smiling at the end
Everyone is already talking about when they will get out for their next overnight trip, and attempting to finish the second half of the Long Trail next year
Restaurant water tastes disgusting
@reneetougas is starting to think about “training” for higher mileage days, and... flirting with the idea of section hiking the PCT at some (undetermined) future date
