Day 24 - Icewater Spring Shelter to Tri-Corner Knob Shelter

Left camp this morning at 8am, which was good considering it was nine of us leaving together.

It was a really beautiful day, both the weather and the views.

We spent the day hiking with, and getting to know, the James family. It was nice to finally meet Mossy in person after our email correspondence last fall and earlier this winter.

They asked us lots of questions about our gear and systems. The day seemed to go really fast hiking with new friends. Hiked into Tri-Corner Knob Shelter at 4:40, perfect time of day.

Tonight is a full camp. The kids have found spaces in the full shelter, Damien and I are sharing a tent. Lots of other tents are set up also. Recognize a few familiar faces here.

I settled into the tent for the night shortly after 7:30. Felt wonderful. I really loved getting into camp at such a great time. I'm feeling more confident tonight with our hike and camp schedule.
