Before this hike I had memories of Vermont’s beautiful forest and mountain views - from our vantage points now they are even more spectacular. Vermont will be calling us again. I hope often :)

‘Miles to go before I sleep’ - so we had to leave the pool! @reneetougas and @toesalad leading the way to Clarendon Shelter.

Day 9 - a hike up and over Bear Mtn - beautiful waterways and much more. Magical wilderness :)

One of the few places there wasn’t an abundance of water - Greenwall shelter. The little dribble-waterfall was adequate though for my morning wash-up!

Not far from the shelter- a collection of ‘White Rocks’ cairns and ‘monuments’. Interesting and unexpected diversion in the landscape.

Met ‘Sharp Shin’- in his early 60’s living his dream to hike the Appalachian Trail: ever since he finished high school and saw some thru-hikers and determined ‘I am going to do that some day!’ Way to go!!
