Three generations out for a short Thanksgiving hike in Nova Scotia. Nice to be out with @celine today, as she gets older hiking with her is becoming a less frequent event.

Slowly made it to the bottom! Slippery rocks and 2 small children made the descent a bit slow, but it was great! At the bottom was the annual Oktoberfest at the Anthony Wayne Recreation Area! An awesome way to celebrate a great hike with outstanding fellow hikers!

Made it to the summit with no view! Happy it was cool weather, though! My wife, who didn’t want her picture taken, hiked with flip flops on😳!! Due to my 10 year old forgetting her hiking shoes! What a trooper! I was insanely impressed with my brides determination! We had the flip flop issue and a small water issue, but she made it to the top! Only her 3rd time hiking! All mountains! She’s awesome!

Very foggy day but still beautiful! We hiked for a charity called Hike For Mental Health. Had an amazing time!

Pennant Point hike by Crystal Crescent Beach, Sambro NS Canada. About 11K - mostly along the Atlantic Ocean. First time- invited to join old and new hikers. Spectacular.

Charlevoix – Parc national des Hautes-Gorges – L’Acropole des Draveurs

With this hike, I have completed the first 25 hikes in the Certificat du Randonneur or bronze level :-)

The rock formations edging into the Atlantic are so similar to those by Peggy's Cove. The beauty of this hike-by-the-sea keeps going and going!
