It was @celine's turn for a ski with me today. We had a couple inches of fresh powder and the temperature was a little warmer than the few days, so it made for very nice conditions.

I snapped this one on today's ski with @celine, I am really happy with how it turned out, it really feels like it captures the motion quite well.

Some people like to spend their winter holiday in warm places, heading south. We like to head "up" and spend our holiday in the mountains, which is what we did for a few days after Christmas this year, hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. This photo shows Stephanie and Chase enjoying the view across frozen Mills Lake.

First hike of 2018.

Today’s hike was short - a 45 minute late afternoon saunter since Stephanie is recovering from a cold - a 1.3 mile loop out of Blair.

Temps about 30, blue sky, no wind, and a packed snowy trail.

First day of the new year, first day of cross-country skiing in 2018, first of the season for @brienne (on her mother’s skis). Today we went for a short ski at Parc Maisonneuve to help @brienne get her ski legs back. Beautiful blue skies yet again.

I may or may not have bought this soft shell at Value Village this fall just so I’d match my skis. All I’m missing is my toque.

Ile Bizard. First ski of season with @toesalad. Taking advantage of a couple hours on the West Island while the kids are singing with their choir at a mall. I love singing but I’d rather ski than be at a mall, especially on this sunny December day.
