Back at the car, our gear loaded in the back, and somewhat surprised it is already over. You know it was a good trip when:

• Everyone is still smiling at the end
• Everyone is already talking about when they will get out for their next overnight trip, and attempting to finish the second half of the Long Trail next year
• Restaurant water tastes disgusting
• @reneetougas is starting to think about “training” for higher mileage days, and... flirting with the idea of section hiking the PCT at some (undetermined) future date

Happy 65 birthday Mom and Dad and 45th wedding anniversary - the reason we did this trip together was to celebrate these milestones. And happy hiking to al my hiking partners on this trip @toesalad, @karentogo, @hammerhead - love all of you so much!!
