First @hammerhead must cool off in the pool - Sosua DR. tomorrow we get to work!

Hirtle’s Beach, favourite ocean-hike close to home, today with @hammerhead. Heavy downpours last night washed out this beach section -water from the lagoon now gushing into the Atlantic. Power of nature!

Stopped for snack and warm tea at Refuge la Chouette, Mont Sourire with @reneetougas, @celine, @toesalad - my family who've inspired me in my passion for hiking!

With sunshine like today I wonder how long these huge swoops of snow will stay intact? Mont Sourire Hike, Saint Donat, QC.

I've heard great reports from @reneetougas and @toesalad about the hiking by Saint Donat, QC. On a spontaneous trip to see them I got in on a weekend Mont Sourire hike with them and @celine. About minus 3C - spectacular weather and beauty.

@hammerhead testing his new poles navigating #indianpathcommon hike. They weren't needed to navigate snow but proved their worth on several unsuspecting patches of ice!

This winter in our area of Nova Scotia we've had very little snow, colder temps than normal, lots of icy cold wind. So thankful for the protection in the woods for us to still enjoy an outdoor hike. #indianpathcommon
