Generally many brooks and rivers for water but ‘just in case’ - ‘Trail magic kindness’ at one of the road crossings.

@hammerhead close to Bromley Peak Summit- ski lift equipment at the top is sitting quiet - waiting for another season!

Day 7 - wonderful sunshine and happy for today’s views, as most of the trail is under a leafy canopy (which helps both for not getting too hot in the sun or too wet in the rain!)

@hammerhead met Catherine and mom Lucille at Starbucks in Manchester Center- who kindly offered to shuttle us to trailhead. 2-mile Hike from here to Bromley shelter - tonight’s camping spot. Clean clothes and bodies and more food- what more do we need?!

Manchester is charming-a destination for shoppers with name-brand outlet shops, a Price Chopper grocery store, laundromat, etc. Plus a well-stocked health food store with bulk options for small amounts for resupplying our food. Like oatmeal-nuts-seeds, raisins and more- all the perfect stuff for this ‘squirrel’ :) Our packs will be soon be heavy again!

Morning after a hot meal that wasn’t a one-pot dish- and a dip in the hot tub and pool!! AND a great sleep in a bed with bright white clean sheets - all around decadent :) @reneetougas and @hammerhead Packing up to hit next section of the trail- have to buy food first though!

Finished 54.5 miles! Looking and smelling clean- oh what bliss. Resupplying in Manchester, staying at Palmer House Resort. @hammerhead and I are on our way to eat at ‘Gringo’s’ - yeah!!

@reneetougas - no shortage of water - cold and mostly crystal clear but we filter it regardless. This is close to highway 11 - where we were able to hitch a ride to Manchester- the 51st vehicle -driver pulled over and was happy to take all 4 of us! God bless ‘her’ :)
