Dad and daughter ‘Eating in the rain!’

The ‘morning-after’ 8 of us hikers packed into Goddard Shelter to stay out of the rain - most of us cleared out before 9:00 - our day 3- @renee packing up, the purple puffy is the last to go into the backpack as wet down does not do well.

Last push to the shelter- such a treat to be with my ‘hiker girl’ daughter @renee xo

Almost to Goddard Shelter - great inspiration to push on seeing the message left by @hammerhead (45 indicating our anniversary years as of Oct!) who had pushed on ahead with @toesalad. I’m married to such a romantic xo

Climbing up stepping stones @renee is setting a good pace. On our way to Goddard Shelter- 14.4 miles - here we go!!

We are mostly in the ‘Green Mountains’ - nice to have the occasional open view
