Very windy stop at the Cape George lighthouse on return trip from our hike.

Perfect ending to yesterday's work-day -- @reneetougas, back from a late-afternoon trek.

Hanging out a while after our climb up to the (Maine) Stratton-Brook Hut . Dug out the snacks: important part of the reward and fun of hiking- chocolate, peanuts, apple, nut and dried fruit loaf 😀

First time exploring Maine Huts & Trails!

Have been waiting all year to prop my snowshoes on a porch - not only in hopes of snow but after a trek!

@reneetougas and @celine - in a winter wonderland just minutes away from the cabin. This spontaneous getaway together couldn't be better!

A winter's gift - sharing snow and fun with @celine and @reneetougas. Memories bounce back when my Mom was the oldest of the threesome in similar winter play photos.
