We're not taking any big road trips this year like previous years. It's a summer in the city for us but we are having regular camping weekends, some as just a couple (@toesalad and me) and some with family. This is a journal of those camping weekends.

About to cross the suspension bridge at Parc de la Gorge (do we have to walk out into the sun?)
@karentogo is sporting her 10L $5 pack from Decathalon, a new sporting goods store in Montreal from France. I’ve seen so many people in the city with these little packs now since the store opened this spring. But we might have been the only people in Coaticook with these packs, for now.
Hiking with @karentogo at summit of Mont Hereford.
Camping trip number two of June.
Going to visit Laurent on July 1st long weekend. Laurent is working at a camp in the south east corner of Quebec, right on he Vermont border.
This camping trip was about going to visit him and exploring the Coaticook area of Quebec.
@karentogo joined us for this trip as she was visiting us in Montreal.
Making camp supper together.
Our little spot at camping villette in Saint Herménégilde. Lovely little campground. For another angle of our site see @toesalad photo
First camping trip of the season. We were planning to spend the weekend in Mt Mansfield state forest. But our car was making suspicious and concerning noises so we stopped in Swanton, VT instead.
It wasn’t the in-the-woods weekend we were hoping for but it was very restful which might have been exactly what we needed most after a very busy spring season.
