We had perfect winter weather conditions on the first Saturday in January. Hiking friend Janice led the way around this large managed woodlot: saw lots of animal tracks and two deer - and many beautifully-shaped Christmas trees of all sizes.

December 26/17, my last trek of this favourite Gaff Point, NS hike for this year. So very happy to enjoy the rocky ocean beauty (and a bracing, brisk wind) with @reneetougas and @toesalad, @mypictograph.

A sunset with an ocean view- at campsite first night on the Grand Manan trail. Magic continued with a spectacular full moon - viewed 6:00 AM from our open tent flap. Love it!!

Great memories of hiking this Bluff Wilderness trail with family @toesalad, @reneetougas, @mypictograph, @celine, @brienne- including the first overnight backpacking trek @hammerhead and I experienced.
