What we see here is Paddy's Island - which is only visible when the tide is all the way out. Very cool experience -

Even with a bit of breeze off the water, it was warm enough you could have stopped for a snack - except for a lack of anywhere to sit! Amazing trek - wanted to take photos of every angle - so thankful for the blue sky!

These two women, plus one other and myself, are planning to do a 5-day section hike on the Appalachian Trail in 2019. The friendships made with other women hikers (close to the same vintage as me) are such gifts!

Hiking Mont Sourire at Saint Donat with the whole family. What a gift to spend a day in the beautiful outdoors together.

The whole family joined us for our hike today - an increasingly rare, but always fun time. Today was beautiful with not overly cold temperatures and gentle snowfall for the entire day.

Indian Path Commons hike - my latest local favourite only 10 minute drive from home. Today's frozen beauty helped me appreciate this week's early cold snap!

Getting a good camera exposure can be tricky and somehow never seems to do the scene justice.

The trail, however, can be quite stunning.
