I love how varied the trail is, and almost all of it beautiful. The Long Trail is becoming a favourite of mine for the amount of sheer beauty it contains, despite the fact that it is largely just a green tunnel.

Piegan pass. For some reason everyone complained about this and hiked Siyeh pass instead. I thought it was pretty beautiful up the top, and the sea of fog below the peaks was pretty crazy to see (on the left hand side of the photo). Worth it for the early morning start.

Day 8: Passed Griffin Lake - on our way to Greenwall shelter-nearly 15 miles of hiking fun ahead !
