The view from Prospect Rock, overlooking Manchester Center, where we will stop for the night to resupply for the next five days. We have lots of things to work through here...

• I have been slowly developing a red eczema like rash around my eyes that has been getting progressively worse. I will need to seek out some medicinal relief.
• @reneetougas has been experiencing knee and achilles pain, so we will have to find ice, rest, and some compression sleeves for her.
• All the usual stuff including showers, food, laundry, more food, and of course rest.

Occasionally the trail is on a gravel road - nice without the mud!! Warm and muggy @hammerhead still has pack covered but the dripping has slowed down.@reneetougas and @toesalad walk off into the mist....

This little road section was a welcome break from the mud on the trail. @toesalad

After miles of rock and root hopping to sidestep mud (sometimes successfully even), having a short section of road walking was a welcome change.

After a couple days of rain vermud lives up to its name.

A red eft day. With all the rain and overcast weather the red efts have been out in the trail. Whoever is hiking in front of the pack calls “red eft” to make sure no one behind steps on them.

Stratton pond

6:30 am Stratton Pond Shelter. Day 5 of hiking before resupply.

Post processing the end of a rainy day, snug and dry now at Stratton Pond shelter. Tomorrow we head into Manchester center for our first resupply.
