Last push to the shelter- such a treat to be with my ‘hiker girl’ daughter @renee xo

Almost to Goddard Shelter - great inspiration to push on seeing the message left by @hammerhead (45 indicating our anniversary years as of Oct!) who had pushed on ahead with @toesalad. I’m married to such a romantic xo

Yeah! Another long view on the Long Trail. Asked @toesalad to pose/sit in the crotch of this tree but he wouldn’t oblige :)

Cutline breaktime.

Most of the trail so far has been a (very pretty) green tunnel. Occasionally the trail emerges into a cutline where views can be glimpsed amongst the power lines.
