Piegan pass. For some reason everyone complained about this and hiked Siyeh
pass instead. I thought it was pretty beautiful up the top, and the sea of
fog below the peaks was pretty crazy to see (on the left hand side of the
photo). Worth it for the early morning start.
We took a shorter 8.5 mile day today, and decided to stay at Peru shelter for the night. It is a beautiful afternoon, a gorgeous brook flows in front of the camp, and it gives @reneetougas the opportunity to rest her knees and achilles tendons. All are in very good spirits.
Three climbs later- Bromley Mtn, Styles Peak, Peru Peak- pitched tents at Peru Shelter - had a cold sit-dip in the brook(sore knees loved this!) and pulling out food bags to make supper!
